5 Things I Learned in 2014

2014 was one of my most fulfilling, challenging, and beautiful years yet. I learned and grew so much that I am amazed at myself. I have a clear vision of who and what I want to be. Here I stand at 22 years young, ready to chase after my big girl dreams without fear or hesitation. The road had a few speed bumps and pot holes, but I made it and I feel like a resilient flower. Keep reading to learn the top five things that I learned in 2014!

Goodbye Isn't Always A Bad Thing

I said goodbye to a few relationships, friendships, and bad habits in 2014. I was also forced to face the fact that my parents' divorce was final. I let go of some grudges and chose to forgive almost all of my enemies. I feel so free and in control of my life now. Letting other people dictate your actions and feelings is uncomfortable. Leave that and everything else bad in 2014!

Short Hair is For Me

I love my pixie cut! I grew my hair out for most of the year in 2014. I tried my best to be who I thought I used to be because I felt as if I had lost my spark for a while, but now I am recharged and know that my short cut is just as much a part of me as blogging. You can't shake who you are or whose you are. That is the beautiful thing that my short, black pixie cut taught me.

I Want To See The World

Before 2014, I was content with going back to Kansas City and possibly traveling, but now I am positive that I want to see the world. I want to swim in the ocean and run through the forest. I want to see the mountains. There is so much to explore on this beautiful Earth that God created! I plan to visit California, Georgia, and Illinois in 2015. Where do you want to go? Any travel suggestions?

I Am LOUD

Okay so maybe I already knew that I was loud, but now I am sure of it. My friends and family are constantly nagging me to lower my voice. I also have a small country accent, but that's a whole different post in itself! I love my loud voice because it matches my loud personality. 2014 taught me to embrace myself and love every single piece of who I am. God didn't make any flaws when he created me! The same goes for you!!!

God Will See Me Through Everything

I know without a shadow of a doubt that God will see me through everything. God is the source of my strength and the reason behind my joy. No matter what life throws my way, I am confident that Christ will guide me.

I am going to start a new series about my walk with God soon, so stay tuned!Thank you so much for checking out my list and supporting my blog. Peace and love!
