Today is my absolute favorite day of the week, monday. I woke up with a To-Do List down to my knees and a smile on my face. This past weekend the Kansas City Royals took the phrases: "Be Royal" and "Take the Crown" to heart when they earned their spot in the 2015 World Series. It took a ton of hard work + practice to get to the World Series, much like it takes hours of planning and strategic execution to be successful as a blogger or doctor or lawyer or parent. Success means never giving up + waking up for the challenge.

Last week I received an email stating that I was hand selected to be VIP Blogger for Saint Louis Fashion Week. I had to read the email a couple of times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I have never been to Saint Louis Fashion Week, much less as VIP Blogger. Similar to the Royals who haven't been to the world series in 30 years. The process + trials of life sometimes make success seem impossible and unreachable, but you have to find the courage inside yourself to "Be Royal" and remember your why.

Never forget that there is always someone looking up to you + following your moves. I try to do what's right + be a light at all times for this very reason. I get emails, posts, texts, etc. sometimes that push me further and make me realize that quitting isn't an option. Choose to Be Royal and make your way to the World Series of your life, whatever that may be. There is something amazing waiting for you on the other side of fear.
