KC Fashion Week Pt. 1

KC Fashion Week was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the awesome collections, to the well-dressed crowd, to the electrifying energy. I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off my spring break. As you can tell from my instagram feed, I was completely happy and honored to sit front row again. One day, I'd like to attend fashion week in other cities, like New York City of course! A girl can dream right? I'd rather dream big not dream at all.

Wanna see more from the actual show? Below are some of the best images that I got. I'm still working on low lighting, so bare with me. This was actually the first show where I had my camera, so I was on cloud nine. LOL I felt so official with my Media Pass + camera + big girl bag! The joy I felt was a great sense of pride in my growth down through the years.

I started out as a pixie cut rocking volunteer 5 or 6 seasons ago and here I am now covering the shows as a blogger. That just goes to show you that growth comes with time. I will forever be indebted to Kathryn of Kathryn Ellis StudiosKC Fashion Week Media Director, for allowing me to cover the shows.

Now back to me rambling about KC Fashion Week. I always get fresh inspiration from being surrounded by my talented blogger gals and seeing new trends for the upcoming seasons. Speaking of blogging gals, I got a chance to catch up with Jana of Jana StyleCaitlin of SophisticaitedAndrea of Style My WayLa'Shonda Fashion Plate KCNgan of Enve Designs, and Antonia of Simply Incredible (pictured above)!

Doesn't it look amazing? Stay tuned for part 2 later this week and follow my time in Atlanta for the next few days on instagram.

Last night I met Tank and it was awesome-sauce! Until next time beautiful people! Peace and love!
