Do All to The Glory of God
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV
It is an honor to influence. I consider it a great joy to have built a platform sharing my life, style, and faith.
Some of you have been with me since my Jas the Stylist days circa 2012 and countless others have joined since then. My favorite thing about influencing is meeting amazing people and building true connections.
My hope and prayer are that every piece of content that I create inspires you to follow your dreams in life and style. You can do it. I didn’t grow up with wealth, a playbook on marriage, or an entrepreneurial circle. But I did learn how to hustle and evolve with time.
You can’t stay the same unless you choose to be stagnant. This is your reminder that you have influence and you can change the trajectory of your life with faith, hard work, and resilience.
My Testimony
Do all to the glory of God… even greeting people at the door.
I never thought that serving using my gifts looked like greeting people at the door, but I LOVE IT.
Growing up in church, I believed that God could only really use people through preaching, teaching, song, and dance.
As I grew in God, I started to use my natural talents of marketing for the kingdom. That season was fulfilling but eventually, it ended. I started to yearn to do something different.
When we joined Vive, I had no idea what I was going to do to serve. I just wanted to come in and receive and heal from my hurt and brokenness.
Have you ever been there? Do you just want to go to church and be invisible? Me too.
Fast forward a couple of months and I finally joined the Hospitality Team where I get to greet people with the joy of the Lord and pray for everyone that enters our doors.
I’m so grateful to be in a new place naturally and spiritually.
Maybe the reset that you need is really a pause to heal and pivot. Do not allow the anxiousness of change to keep you stagnant when God is calling you to a new place.
Most importantly, do all to the glory of God.
God Is Faithful
People may not always believe in you but God always knows what is best. May His will be done in us, always. God’s plan always exceeds my expectations. Use your influence for good and stop hiding your talents.
May Jesus bless you endlessly in your area of influence for His glory.
