New York taught me to get a little overdressed. I'm still floating on cloud nine from my first time in the big apple. It's like those 4 days sparked a new fire in me to get back into fashion. That means more style posts and fashion shows. Old dreams die slow, ya know?

What dreams do you have that you've swept under the rug?

As we get older, we have to fight to keep our fearless heart and limitless faith. Nothing can overtake you with the Lord on your side. God is so amazing that he would use a Missouri girl with a fashion degree to work in social media and experience things that a child could only dream about. What big things do you want to accomplish?

Your wardrobe has to match your goals. I am in love with this sequin skirt from Kyrie Eleison. It pops and is great for evening events or brunch with your girls. I'm planning to repeat this skirt during KC Fashion Week this coming week. Every girl needs a couple of pieces that she can repeat without guilt. What staple pieces do you have in your wardrobe? Think about your style, not what you have in your closet, but what you actually wear.

What are you looking for outside of yourself that you already possess? 

Over the last few months, I've done a ton of shopping but realized that I literally wear the same 20 pieces. Without recognizing it my style has been defined. That's one example of looking for something that was already inside of me. What are you looking for outside of yourself that you already possess? Dig deep.
