My favorite time of the year has just ended, KC Fashion Week. Twice a year, I get to dress up and go sit front row at the hottest fashion shows in Kansas City. This year, I was selected to be a KC Fashion Week Ambassador. I talk more about how awesome it made me feel here.Such a great privilege + experience. I attended 3 fashion shows + 1 special event at Kendra Scott. Oh yeah, I love Kendra Scott on the Plaza. The atmosphere + gorgeous jewelry make fun a memorable experience every time.

Runway on the Rooftop

The Runway on the Rooftop Event was definitely my favorite. I was impressed with the view, just breathtaking. The KC Fashion Week team pulled off a great event with mingling, cocktails, gorgeous models, and amazing designs. I really enjoyed being outside and the freshness of the night's air. My favorite looks were from Zafar Boutique, everything was on trend for fall! I attended the show with my good friend, owner of Eyedentitees, Mr. Langston Jones. We ended the night with sushi from The Drunken Fish. I'm addicted to their late night happy hour.

Thursday Evening Runway Show

The KCFW Thursday Evening Show was actually my favorite thursday show to date. I was really impressed with the collections, especially Buf Reynolds and Michael Drummond. I loved their use of black and white. Lately, my eyes have been drawn to black and white designs. There is something so alluring about classic colors + well crafted fashion pieces. What style do you enjoy?

Saturday Evening Runway Show

KC Fashion Week ended with a bang. The Saturday evening show was my absolute favorite. All of the designers were local. I didn't have a favorite because they were all amazing; however, I was really impressed with Architexture and Katie Lee. I'm big on craftsmanship and fluidity within a line. I love to collections come alive and make sense to my eyes. Both of these collections, did just that. Alicia Janesko ended the show with a bang. In true, Rip the Runway fashion a vocalist came out alongside her models. I was impressed with the details of her designs + uniqueness of her finale.
